Landmark litigation that exposed a forced labor scheme in Alabama prisons, securing release for multiple incarcerated plaintiffs, and leading to Hyundai and Jefferson County ending their use of incarcerated labor in Alabama, and Alabama replacing the Chair of the Parole Board and increasing parole rates statewide
